The utility’s Water Quality Report is an annual summary of the quality of water provided to Denver-area customers. It includes easy-to- understand information about where Denver’s water comes from, what it contains and how it measures up to standards set by regulatory agencies.

May 28, 2010 Boil Water Advisory Lifted for NW Denver
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Water Quality Control Division lifted the boil water advisory that went into effect May 27 for homes and businesses between 10th Avenue and 24th Avenue, and Federal Boulevard and Tennyson Street in Denver. Recent samples indicate the water is safe to drink.

May 27, 2010 Update: Boil Water Advisory for NW Denver
A FasTracks contractor working near 12th Avenue and Knox Court ruptured a 30-inch conduit around 10:30 a.m. today. Because of a resulting significant loss of pressure in the area, Denver Water is advising homes and businesses between 10th Avenue and 24th Avenue, and Federal Boulevard and Tennyson Street to boil their water before drinking.

May 21, 2010 Partial boat ramp closures at Antero Reservoir
Antero Reservoir’s north boat ramp will be closed May 24 and 28 due to schedule adjustments for the state employees who manage the aquatic nuisance species inspections. The reservoir’s south boat ramp will be open on those dates from a half-hour before sunrise to a half-hour after sunset.
