August 25, 2009 Boat ramp closures at Antero Reservoir
Antero Reservoir’s boat ramp will be closed for three days this fall because the state employees who manage the aquatic nuisance species inspections are required to take furlough days. The reservoir will be closed to boating on Sept. 8, Oct. 5 and Oct. 9.

Denver Water is seeking a Suburban Customer Representative for its Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC). The CAC is the 10-member volunteer action committee that advises Denver Water staff and the Board of Water Commissioners on a variety of issues while encouraging and coordinating public participation in the water department’s policy-making process.

August 09, 2009 Antero North Boat Ramp Closes Aug. 10
Antero Reservoir’s north boat ramp will be closed for the rest of the boating season beginning Monday, Aug. 10. The closure is a cost-saving measure that occurred because of a drop in boating use. The south boat ramp will remain open seven days a week.

Antero Reservoir’s north boat ramp will be open to trailered boats beginning Thursday, July 9, 2009. The north ramp will be open each weekend, Thursday through Sunday, through boating season. The south boat ramp will remain open seven days a week.

Denver Water has launched its new Web site at denverwater.org, featuring the same great content in a more organized, easy-to-find layout. Visitors to the site will notice customized landing pages for 14 different customer types, as well as quick home page links to bill-pay and customer support. In addition, the site features new RSS feeds for those who want to stay on top of Denver Water news and job postings.
