We heard you. You’re right. We fixed it.
We heard your concerns about the shortened due dates that resulted from our switch to monthly billing. You were right, so we changed our policy and extended the amount of time you have to pay your bill to 20 days. Our new monthly billing system also charged late fees based on the shortened payment period. We will refund all late fees incurred during this transition period (July through September) to those customers who paid their water bills within 20 days. The amount will appear as a credit on a future water bill. We will update our Web site with more information about the refunds once it is available. Thank you for your patience while we continue to improve our new billing system.
