Commercial Weather-Based Smart Controllers
Denver Water will pay our large irrigation and commercial customers 25 percent off qualifying models to install weather-based smart controllers.
Some weather-based smart controllers operate based on historical information, while others operate based on current weather data transmitted each day from local weather stations during the irrigation season. Prices vary depending on the model, brand and vendor. Please do your research to find a device that meets your needs at the price you are willing to pay, or ask your professional landscape contractor.
Qualifications
- Purchase a new smart controller along with any required weather instrumentation from qualifying model list between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2010, and have it installed at the service address.
- Multiple smart controllers are allowed per account.
- Invoice or receipt must contain manufacturer make and model information, and amount paid for the controller listed. Rebate applies to qualifying smart controller only and not installation labor.
- The original receipt for your smart controller(s) must be attached to this application. (Keep a copy of your receipt for your personal records.)
- Property must receive treated water from Denver Water or a Denver Water provider.
- Denver Water must verify installation and will call to schedule an inspection visit.
- You must submit your application within 90 days of purchase.
- Installation and inspection must be completed within 12 months.
- Mail completed application to your water provider.
- Please allow eight to 12 weeks for your completed application to be processed.
- Failure to cash a rebate check within 90 days of issuance shall void the rebate and shall relieve Denver Water of any obligation or liability to pay the rebate.
- Rebate checks cannot be reissued.

Commercial Irrigation Rotary Nozzles
Denver Water will pay our large irrigation and commercial customers $5 per nozzle, $20 minimum purchase, to install irrigation rotary nozzles.
Qualifications
- Customer must receive treated water from a Denver Water distributor.
- See list of qualifying models.
- A receipt for the rotary nozzles dated between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2010, must be provided.
- SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION WITHIN 90 DAYS OF PURCHASE.
- Installation and inspection must be completed within 12 months.
- Once the rotary nozzles are installed, Denver Water will schedule inspection.
- Mail completed application to your water provider.
- Please allow eight to 12 weeks for your completed application to be processed.
- Failure to cash a rebate check within 90 days of issuance shall void the rebate and shall relieve Denver Water of any obligation or liability to pay the rebate.
- Rebate checks cannot be reissued.

Commercial Wireless Rainfall Sensor
Denver Water will pay our large irrigation and commercial customers $50 for each wireless rain sensor installed.
Qualifications
- Property must receive treated water from a Denver Water provider.
- New wireless rain sensor must have been purchased between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2010.
- Wireless rain sensor must be installed at the same address listed on your water bill.
- The original receipt for your wireless rain sensor must be attached to the application. (Keep a copy of your receipt for your personal records.)
- For looped irrigation systems, list all account numbers on page 2 of application.
- Denver Water must verify installation and will call to schedule an inspection visit.
- SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION WITHIN 90 DAYS OF PURCHASE.
- Installation and inspection must be completed within 12 months.
- Mail completed application to your water provider.
