Dillon Recreation Path Closure
September 24, 2009 - The Dillon recreation path will be closed Monday, Sept. 28, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. , to allow Denver Water to install riprap (supportive rock material) on the eroded area below the path. This work is a requirement of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and will protect the recreation path from future erosion. The closure is being done in coordination with road maintenance by Summit County Road & Bridge, who will close Dillon Dam Road at the same time.
