Treated Water Planning

The Treated Water Planning Section analyzes the operation of the treated water system and makes recommendations for expanding, renovating and replacing infrastructure, such as pipelines, valves, treated water reservoirs, pump stations and conduits. It measures and models performance characteristics of the treated water system, reviews plans for new projects and determines financial participation from organizations that benefit from Denver Water’s treated water infrastructure.  The section also develops service plans and provides modeled fire flow information to designers of sprinkler systems and local distribution systems.

The section also may help customers who have system-related pressure or flow issues. If you have pressure or fire flow questions, send us an email.
