Gross Dam Road roadway improvements

Beginning March 9 and lasting through late March, Denver Water’s contractor Kiewit-Barnard, will begin work to grade and widen Gross Dam Road. Upcoming activities will include, but are not limited to, removal of tree and brush materials from work areas, roadway excavation and placement of fill materials. These activities will occur in the following locations, Sawmill Gulch and lower railroad tracks (see images for details),

To ensure the safety of motorists and workers, those traveling through the area may experience intermittent lane closures. Traffic control will be in place to maintain traffic flow through the area. As with all projects impacting roadways, we will ensure access for all emergency vehicles and continue to coordinate with local public safety personnel.
