Survey activity on Gross Dam Road

Over the next two weeks, Denver Water’s contractors, Metcalf Archeological Consultants, will be conducting cultural resource surveys along Gross Dam Road. Surveys are scheduled to start the week of April 25.

Residents can expect to see crews walking along the roadway and within the road right of way. Please note:

• This work is non-invasive and will not require any land disturbance.
• The surveys will take place during daylight hours only and may include weekend activities.
• The surveys are weather-dependent; they cannot be performed if snow is on the ground.

If you are traveling along Gross Dam Road during this time, please watch for the survey crews, follow posted speed limits and, if possible, provide additional space for workers in the area.
