Join Nicole Babyak, a water quality treatment manager at Denver Water, in this behind-the-scenes video for a look at some of the unique elements of the utility’s new, state-of-the-art Northwater Treatment Plant. 

Denver Water’s newest plant, under construction since 2018, will begin operations in 2024. 

When complete, the plant on Highway 93 north of Golden will include 14 buildings and two giant, mostly underground concrete tanks. Each tank can store 10 million gallons of clean water for delivery to customers.
