During the week of July 17, a 17-person crew from Teens Inc. visited the north shore of Gross Reservoir to perform trail maintenance, weeding and cleanup as part of their summer work program, called TeamWorks.

The program is a collaborative effort between Teens Inc. and Lincoln Hills Cares, providing outdoor education programs and paid work experiences. Through the program, disadvantaged youth from the Denver metro area and Gilpin County develop life skills, career preparation and natural sciences education while engaging in community projects. Participants can also earn scholarships for college.
