Beginning the week of Feb. 20 and lasting approximately 10 days, Denver Water’s contractor, Kiewit-Barnard, will be excavating near Highway 72.

Beginning the week of Feb. 13, Denver Water’s contractor, Kiewit-Barnard, will begin work on improvements at the intersection of Gross Dam Road and Highway 72.

Beginning Monday, Jan. 16, Denver Water’s contractor, Kiewit-Barnard, will begin work to reinforce the bridge over South Boulder Creek on Gross Dam Road. This work will take approximately one week, although this timeframe is weather-dependent.

Denver Water will be restarting in-person office hours the week of Jan. 9 at Canyon Coffee.

Beginning Dec. 6, Kiewit-Barnard will begin preparation work, including tree and shrub removal and excavation, for road widening of Gross Dam Road between Gross Reservoir headquarters and the Union Pacific Railroad tracks.

Denver Water’s contractor, Kiewit-Barnard, will begin work to pave the shoulder of Crescent Park Drive near Highway 72.

Hydrodemolition is a process we’re using to roughen the surface of the existing concrete on the downstream side of the dam.

Beginning the week of August 22, visitors to the area should expect to see concrete trucks on Gross Dam Road between the base of Gross Dam and Flagstaff.

Recreation at Gross Reservoir will reopen Saturday, July 2, after a two-week closure.
